Defeat Joint Pain, All Over

As one of the most common medical problems, there are many potential causes of joint pain. These include:

  • Trauma including sports injuries

  • Arthritis

  • Inflammation

  • Strain or sprain

  • Altered biomechanics

Pain can be felt in one joint or a few, and can also be experienced alongside redness, swelling and loss of mobility. Painkillers can be used at home to provide some relief but if you really want to identify the cause and prevent it from happening again, you may need some professional support.

Treatment For Joint Pain

From a sore ankle or elbow to knee pain and achy hips, joint pain can be experienced all over and for lots of different reasons. This makes it crucially important that you know what you’re treating before doing anything.

As well as a regular gentle exercise there is a lot of evidence that shows that adjustments and manual therapy can be an effective treatment for joint pain. This is because it focuses on certain areas of the body to relieve stress, restore movement and reduce stiffness.

What To Expect

Your first assessment will begin with a full examination as well as a discussion about your medical history and lifestyle choices. We may need to do some further orthopaedic tests as well as carrying out some X-rays in our on-site facilities.

Once done, and we’ve identified where the problem lies, we can advise on a personalised care plan. This will be a combination of in-clinic and at-home treatments and many of our patients experience relief quickly.

We’ve helped people of all ages to get their life back on track – many of whom can’t remember a time when they weren’t suffering with joint pain. So, if you’ve had enough and want to speak to one of our experts, get in touch today.
